The Hampton RCMP is seeking the public’s in help identifying an individual following an attempt of sexual touching involving a youth in Hampton, N.B.
The incident occurred on March 10, 2025, between 4:40 and 4:50 p.m., when an individual approached a youth behind a school on Elizabeth Avenue, in Hampton, requested the youth to perform sexual acts in exchange for money. The youth refused and ran into the school, while the suspect left on foot, also running, towards Main Street.
Police are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual in connection with the incident.
The individual is described as a tall man in his twenties with a slim build, short black hair and clean shaven. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light brown jacket, blue jeans and dark-coloured shoes.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, who may have video surveillance or dash-camera footage, or has any information that may help further the investigation is asked to contact the Hampton RCMP at 506-832-5566.
