With our new website update, the names of charged and convicted sex offenders listed from our Facebook pages are being transferred over, and the website re-posted the stories back to Facebook but with a March date, causing many people to think high-risk offenders were released at one time, but their actual offence dates are from the past.
We apologize for any confusion this has caused anyone. This website/database is here to be a searchable database of names that were publicly listed as sex offenders or were charged with sexual offences and specializes in historical cases.
This database of names is to help provide information for the parents with kids so they know about who’s living near them.
Back before the Liberals got in and dropped all minimum sentencing on these offenders or ruled it against their rights to be put on a database of sex offenders after being found guilty, we had a bill in the House of Commons to open the national sex offender registry open to the public, but it was dropped the day the Liberals got in .
Again, we apologize for the confusion these posts this past week may have caused. To make sure it did not happen again, we paused the transfer of names till we figured it out.
